Shunned - An Ode to the Internet We land upon this Internet full of expectation
and look at all the offers, full of jubilation...
thinking we will make some cash to ease our situation.
But soon we see the offers are in proliferation
so we seek out a "guru" to ease our mass confusion
but some don't know as much as us
then we get disillusioned.
Continue on a spending spree to find the best solution
and learn at great expense
that all the hype has caused pollution
so we consider giving up because of our frustration.
And just before we pull the plug
we find someone to trust,
someone who's suffered all the crap and hype
as much as us.
Together through our texting chats
we reach the same conclusion
that all the things we joined in vain
require mass dilution.
The answer being obvious
we will focus concentration
on just a few and "give 'em hell"
to reach a good conclusion.
Together we decide to carry on for one last try
so long as this damned Internet
don't drain our pockets dry.
There is no pride in giving in
but smoke and mirrors is a sin.
If only folks would realise
and take the blinkers from their eyes
you never will achieve success if you're a crook
so do your best
to copy those who prove to you
that they do what they say they do.
Sending emails... no reply,
keep on... thinking "Do or Die"
If they won't communicate the only answer is "Negate"
Throw their address in the bin...
doesn't mean you're giving in.
It just means you will save some time
avoiding those who don't reply.
Always be an honest friend
and help YOUR contacts 'til the end.
